I snagged some of my Mom's pictures off facebook tonight to put on my blog! Jonathan is 10 days old now and really growing. It's amazing how much they change in so short a period of time. He's still eating about every 3 or 3 and a half hours. At night, though, he takes his bottle and goes right back to sleep. I'm usually only up maybe 20 minutes or so at a time. We're "loosely" doing Babywise like we did with Stephen and Caleb. They're both great sleepers, and I credit the ideas in the book for most of that. Admittedly, I feel like Jonathan is being a little more spoiled by me, though. I'm not completely sure why. Anyhoo, we're all doing great...just adjusting to life outnumbered by our kids! Love it!=)
I was born and raised in Snow Camp, NC. After graduating from high school, I attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. During my college years God changed my life. After being on campus at Liberty for only 5 days, I met my future husband, Jeremy. We were married in July of 2002 and immediately began ministering to the students at Union Grove Baptist Church. In April of 2006, we had our first son, Stephen Andrew. Our family's life was unexpectedly changed in August of 2007 when we were involved in a serious car wreck. After weeks in the hospital and numerous surgeries, God graciously spared our lives, and we were able to return home. In October of 2008, we welcomed another son, Caleb Joshua. In August 2010, we were blessed by a third son, Jonathan Seth. After much prayer, God moved our family to the Summit Church in Durham, NC where we are presently serving. God has been so real to our family. I pray this blog is a testimony to His goodness and a reminder of how precious each day is.
