It has been almost a whole month since I last blogged! Unbelieveable! I imagine no one is reading this anymore due to my lack of posts...totally understandable. I am planning on getting more consistent now and here's why: =) On Saturday we got a new computer AND the interent!!!!=) Yay! No more buying time in the apartment clubhouse. I have truly enjoyed my 2 months without the internet and have gotten tons done...but...it is time!=) I am so limited in keeping up with people and even Jeremy without it. Hopefully my "break" will have taught me how to be a wise internet user and not let it eat all of my time!
So, where do I start? Seriously, I'm not sure! Let's see...I'm pulling out my calendar right now to look at June! Okay, first off, Jeremy celebrated his 28th birthday! Wow! Two more years til we both hit the big 30!=) The boys and I got him some Crocs for work and lots of new clothes. We also celebrated Father's Day by getting him a book (Froggy's Day Out with Dad) and a Dick's gift card. We sure love our Daddy!=) Our family also went on vacation to the Virginia mountains with my family. It was so great! We definitely needed a break! Jeremy stayed for half of the week and then had to come back home. I stayed the rest of the time with the boys. You'll see several pictures posted from this trip. Our favorite part (besides horseback riding, go-carts, the children's museum, grass tubing, inflatables, etc.) was the indoor waterpark. Stephen had the best time! He was so brave and did almost everything there!=) Oh, and while Jeremy was there, we played golf one morning! I had not played 18 holes since before Stephen was born! That's been a long time. I did pretty good and only topped the ball one time!=) It was nice for me and Jeremy to enjoy this time together. Maybe we'll retire one day to a golf course!=) What else?...Yeah, we had VBS last week at the Summit. It went well, but Jeremy was completely worn out. Stephen actually got to go since he's 3 now. He enjoyed it but had "Mommy nights" the last 2 nights. I ended up taking him home early once and then staying with him the last night. I'm not sure what happened; I think it was just all too new for him. He learned lots, though, and made very cute crafts. I'm excited about next year's VBS! Jeremy and I are learning a lot. And most recently, Stephen had his first t-ball practice! It was so cute! And the Canter family came down, and we all went to the Durham Bull's baseball game. Great times!...=)
So, I guess that's about it. Hopefully the pictures will catch you up on our family. The boys have really grown! I am so proud of the precious family God has given us! Thanks for being patient with me. Hopefully things will be better now and a whole month won't pass by!=)
We kept our friend Erin (who's 7) last week. She is so precious and made Caleb these cute little things to wear. Doesn't he look just like his Daddy here?=)
Stephen rode a horse on vacation. He's definitely not meant to be a jockey! He said it's "too bumpy!."=)
Our family (the most recent picture we have)...So blessed!
All 4 of us loved the waterpark. They had things for Caleb's age, Stephen's, and some big rides for me and Jeremy. We had a total blast!=)
Stephen had to wear this special life vest at the outdoor section of the waterpark. No fear, that's for sure!
These are the 3 slides Stephen convinced me to let him go down (by himself, nonetheless). I have no idea who that kid is. I copied the picture from the resort's website!=) Seriously, I was so scared for him! We could not see him sliding down until his reached the bottom. I'd then scoop him up from the small pool of water. One time he came down on his back head first...Hmm? He had a great time, though, and I'm glad I was "brave" enough to let him do it!=)
Stephen at his first t-ball practice!
Stephen was so excited when the other team gave him a "real baseball" at the game! He slept with it that night!
Caleb snuggled with Kim at the Durham Bulls game! He was more into chewing Stephen's glove and watching the game!=)

Our Adoption in Christ...just the beginning!
...It has been at least an hour, and my pictures still haven't downloaded! Ugh! I give up! Maybe next time!=)
I'm right now at my Mom's and stealing a few free minutes to blog. It's been a good week so far. Yesterday Stephen and I found the local library and checked out way more books than I could carry! He loves getting new books! We also got some books on CD to listen to next week. We're heading to vacation on Sunday with my family. I hope the CD's will help pass the time. Jeremy has to come back next Wednesday for a meeting, but I'm not sure when the boys and I will return. My blogging, as usual, may be limited. Speaking of books, I have just started reading the book Adopted for Life by Russell D. Moore. It is so AWESOME! Jeremy and I have always considered adoption as something that would be a future part of our lives. This book has only reinforced the passion I feel in my heart. The author amazingly relates adopting children to our adoption by God. I have learned so much. I can barely put the book down; not because it's filled with a heartwarming story, but because of how much I'm learning about God's love for me. I would definitely recommend it...amazing! As far as Jeremy and I go, we are praying about adoption and trusting the Lord's guidance. Who knows?!=) Tonight we do the Chic-Fil-A thing and then tomorrow morning I head to the dentist! Fun stuff! Thursday will hopefully be a family day and then Stephen's spending Friday night in Winston. Busy but beautiful! I love this amazing life God has given me!

Bumming It!
I had all intentions of posting pictures...but I left my camera batteries at the apartment. Everything was plugged in, ready to download, when I realized...no batteries! Anyhoo, it will have to wait...once again! This has been a nice week for all of us. Monday we did the Harris Teeter thing and Weight Watchers. I'm still right where I need to be weight wise (which is great considering I eat at least 2 candybars a week!). I know it will eventually catch up with me, so I've got to get more serious. Plus, I also know it's my responsibilty to take care of this vessel God has given me. On Tuesday we went to a playdate at the park with some Moms from the Summit. Stephen is beginning to make friends with the other little boys there. Yesterday, believe it or not, I had an interview at a Christian school in Durham. They're looking for a tutor/therapist in their NILD program. This is what I did at Salem for awhile and then at UG. I'm praying about what to do. It'd only be like 6 hours a week, but I'm loving this "not working at all" stage (I mean, not working out of the house. Staying home IS work! Don't be fooled!) With my desire to stay home, is an equal conviction that I should be financially easing the burden on Jeremy. It's a Prov. 31 thing I'm still learning. I'll keep everyone posted. Please pray that I'd have wisdom if you think about it! Thanks! My parents kept the boys during my interview yesterday and are not bringing them back until tonight! Unbelieveable! A free day...I'm bumming it! For fun (and this is really sad!), I got up this morning to steal some deals from Lowe's Food. It's so much easier without 2 little ones!=) I spent $40 and saved $35...Not bad! Our freezer is packed full and the pantry is filled with goodies! I love bargains! And now, yes I admit it, I'm sitting by the pool. There's no one here but me. It's so sunny, and I'm using Jeremy's wireless to do some internet work. Do I feel guilty? No way! Every mother deserves a break! It only makes us better! Have a great one!
