A quick baby update!

I have no pictures to post (or better yet, none I'm willing to post!), but I wanted to quickly update you on how things are going with number 3! We're only 5 weeks out now, and I'll start going to the Dr. weekly next week. It has flown by!

Yes, I'm hot, but so is everyone else. I haven't swollen any this pregnancy (yet!), which has been a huge blessing. Some of you know how huge I got with Caleb!=) The baby is still very active, and I'm carrying very high. I feel great, though, and have loved the "nesting feeling" more lately!

Stephen and Caleb are also starting to ask more and more questions. They both say the baby is a girl, but I'm trying to warn them that they may be disappointed!=) I seriously wonder how Stephen will do if it's another boy!

Jeremy and I are very excited to meet this new little person. It has been so much fun not finding out if it's a boy or girl! Who would have thought? Yes, it's been crazy not getting to plan but also very exciting! I can hardly imagine how it will feel when we actually find out! As far as "gut feeling," Jeremy has none, but I'm leaning towards boy! We'll soon find out!=)

The bag is packed (with both a boy outfit and girl outfit!), so we are ready! Jeremy knows how to get to Duke, and I've warned him he will probably have to get there quickly. I feel like this little one will come fast! We'll be sure to keep everyone posted (probably through facebook or twitter). Thanks for all your prayers as we count down the weeks! Baby #3 will be here soon!!!!

Summit Kids' Camp

A couple weeks ago Jeremy and some of his staff took a group of Summit elementary kids to camp in Louisburg. He left on Monday and came back home on Thursday. After much thought, we decided this would be a great opportunity to spend some quality time with Stephen.

Caleb stayed with my parents (and yes, it was weird only having 1!) while Stephen headed to camp with us. We would have taken Caleb, but we were sleeping in dorms, and I knew this would not go very well. Caleb's just not as flexible with his sleeping arrangements as Stephen. Plus, again, we wanted Stephen to feel special having some one on one time with Daddy and Mommy!

The week was very busy for Jeremy, but he was still able to spend some time with us. I loved being able to focus my attention on Stephen and do things he enjoyed. We also enjoyed the services and group games that the kids played. Stephen made some friends with the elementary kids we took. He thought he was a big boy!

As the arrival of number 3 is quickly approaching, I'm grateful for any one on one time I get with either of the boys. I want them to always feel special, no matter how many brothers (or sisters!) are around!=)

Stephen enjoying some icecream Daddy bought him from the concession stand!

He's also sporting his camp t-shirt and wearing his lanyard (which amazingly he never lost!)

Happy Belated July 4th!!!!=)

Almost a month has passed since July 4th, but I still wanted to update you on our family's adventures!=)

On Saturday morning, we headed over to the pool clubhouse for a neighborhood 4th of July parade. The boys rode in their decorated red wagon and waved their American flags as we followed the parade route around the block. We were led by a firetruck and enjoyed getting to meet some more of our neighbors. The parade was followed up by some watermelon and popsicles!

Stephen is usually scared of fireworks (they're "too loud") but this year, at the last minute, he decided he wanted to go and see some! On Sunday night, at like 7:30, we packed the car and headed out on a search for some good fireworks. We ended up in a parking lot near the State Fairgrounds. The boys played football, and we ate watermelon out of the back of our van! The fireworks were beautiful, and Stephen did amazingly well. I guess it helped that we were too far away for them to be loud!

Overall it was a great July 4th! Can't wait to enjoy it next year with 3 little ones!=)

Caleb chowing down on some watermelon!

He wasn't too sure about that silly hat (me either)!=)

In the parade...

Stephen was proud of his hat!=)

Our family!

Still in the parade...but getting HOT!
